Encaustic (bees wax) on wood 14 x 14 (Private Collection TX)

I Love the smell of bees wax and the magical way it transforms when melted. Channeling the beauty of a summer  day I dusted a  soft gold powder through out which allows for moments of interaction between the piece and the viewer.
